I installed the 1.25 beta release and was dissapointed to find that the buttons I had configured with the previous version were replaced with a default configuration.   I had worked hard to get my buttons just the way I wanted.  Now they are gone!  Is there any way to get them back, or to I have to start all over and reprogram the buttons I want?

Suggestion for next release - during installation ask if I want to save my previous configuration before replacing it.

What version of Launch Manager did you have before upgrading to Launch Manager 1.25?

Try not to save, your settings may still be present.

Unless there is a bug in the beta, Launch Manager does not replace settings files.

Did you install Launch Manager in the same location as the previous version?

If you were using Launch Manager 1.0, Your settings should be safe in "[Storage Card]\Program Files\Launch Manager\Launch.hlc"
If you were using Launch Manager 1.2 or greater, Your settings should be in "[Storage Card]\Program Files\Launch Manager\Launch.hlcx"

Launch Manager 1.2 and greater ask if you would like to import from Launch Manager 1.0 settings.
Launch Manager 1.2 and 1.21 settings are used in Launch Manager 1.25.

If the previous version was installed on a storage card and the new version was installed on the device or vice-versa, Launch Manager will not detect the previous settings.
If Launch Manager was installed in a different location, Uninstall and install to the same location as the previous version.

If you would like to change the installation location:
First use the backup feature of Launch Manager 1.25 to backup your settings.

Then Uninstall Launch Manager and install it to the new location,
after installing use the Restore feature to restore your settings.
